I started as a Technical Illustrator for a local engineering firm, but after a year moved into the more varied and exciting world of advertising.

After a brief period with Harrow Council I joined London art studio Mather Associates as a junior artworker (paste-up as it was then). I progressed on to become studio manager and later became a partner.

In 1994 I bought out my two partners who later retired, and took on moving the company into the world of digital artwork. We continued to supply artwork to both our own direct clients and several London Advertising Agencies until our lease ended in June 2000.

With cable broadband and ISDN becoming available in Chalk, I took the opportunity to work from home where I have continued to produce artwork for both my own long held clients, but also freelance out on site for advertising agencies, design companies and a local oil company. This has resulted in a wide variety of work, some samples of which can be found on this site.

When not working I am a keen dinghy sailor and am currently sailing secretary of Wilsonian Sailing Club on the river Medway. Along with my wife, we enjoy skiing with family and friends and try to go every year.
